PHOENIX -- One member of the TSA team at Sky Harbor International Airport has been making this a better and safer Arizona for the past 10 years.

Aldo retired Friday night.

The 10-year-old German Shepherd has been working as an explosive detection K-9.

After working five days a week for years, his Phoenix police partner said it's time the security dog gets some time off to act like a puppy again.

"He's going to still live at the house and he's going to be outside with the dogs, inside with me just being a puppy," said Officer Melina Walker.

Aldo checked aircraft and other areas for bombs.
