PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) -- A Prescott man suspected of killing two people, including his mother, and injuring two others has been caught in Phoenix.
Police say 51-year-old Jerry Lee Wells was arrested Friday night at a hotel in Phoenix.
Authorities say 75-year-old Anita Wells and 47-year-old Jodi Reed were found dead earlier in the day in the home mother and son shared. A third victim, Mark Potter, is in critical condition at a Flagstaff hospital.
Wells is accused of leaving the scene and then beating 45-year-old Jason Wolf at a Prescott Valley home. Police say the pole recovered from Wolf's attack was likely used in the killings.
Family members told investigators Wells had recently been told to leave the home.
Wells has been booked on four charges including two for premeditated murder.
