SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Do you love food, wine, craft beer and great causes? If the answer is yes, be sure to check out the Beer for Brains Foundation's Epicuriad 2015 Food, Wine & Craft Beer Pairings Event is this Saturday, Jan. 24.

The event includes an exciting face-off event between two local celebrity chefs, plus a large sampling of food, craft beer and wine from sixty chefs, breweries and vineyards in an intimate setting.

The Epicuriad VIP Chef Face-Off event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24th at the Musical Instrument Museum in Scottsdale. The face-off will be followed by the public Epicuriad event at 7:30 p.m. The Epicuriad will include 20 local chefs, plus 20 vineyards and craft beer breweries competing to win. Attendees will vote for the "Best Pairing," based on whether craft beer or wine is the attendee-preferred pairing with each dish, and "Best Entrée," based on taste and presentation.

Benefiting the Barrow Neurological Institute branch of Phoenix Children's Hospital, all proceeds from this event will help fund pediatric brain tumor research.

The Beer For Brains Foundation (BFBF) is a national non-profit organization of craft beer lovers, distributors and brewers committed to raising public awareness about brain cancer, and fundraising to support research.

Based in Scottsdale, BFBF stages multiple events across the country each year, working independently or in partnership with breweries, medical research facilities, non-profits and other partners local to each event. Louis Dolgoff founded the organization in 2010 after losing his wife, a craft beer lover, to a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. BFBF has raised more than $500,000 to help find a cure.

VIP tickets for the event cost $150, and regular admission tickets cost $95. Proceeds to benefit pediatric brain tumor research at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
