Flagstaff police need help identifying shoplifting suspect

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Flagstaff police are asking for the public's help in identifying a shoplifting suspect.

Sgt. Margaret Bentzen said the suspect left the Wal-Mart on Woodlands Village Boulevard on Monday with a full shopping cart when he was stopped by an employee.

Bentzen said the suspect pulled out a knife, pointed it at the employee and left without the cart of items, which included beer, alcohol, food, clothing and razors. He left the area in a white truck.

The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweatshirt and jeans.
