PHOENIX -- He's widely known as the speed painter! And wait until you see what he can do in just a few minutes with a brush and some paint.

In town to do a private show, performance speed painter Tim Decker joined us at 3TV Tuesday morning to create paintings of legendary icons in mere minutes.

Decker is known throughout the country for his amazing abilities, and  recently appeared on Hell's Kitchen to create a painting of Gordon Ramsay in no time at all.

So how did he start? Decker said he had a dream about it. "I woke up, I got a gallon of paint, a couple of brushes," he says. "My first portrait was Mr. T."

He has a full-length theater show. But he can do some paintings in less than 90 seconds.

"It's really about trying to find someone with great features, which can be difficult at times," he says. "And once you find the right people, it makes for a great show."

Much of his work goes to a good cause. Over the last year and a half, Decker's paintings have raised more than $500k for various charities across the country.
