Phoenix weather: Clouds and cooler tempsPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- We’re going to see one more day of really warm weather around the Valley before a storm system brings us cooler temps, clouds and some breezes on Wednesday and Thursday. Northern Arizona will also see a chance for rain and snow showers but it should stay dry around metro Phoenix.
Temperatures on Tuesday should reach back into the mid-70s, but by Wednesday, with increasing clouds, our high will be around 70 degrees. That’s still above normal for this time of year. We’ll duplicate the 70 on Thursday and then things will start to warm up again. By the time we finish off this coming weekend, we’ll be back in the upper-70s.
The week leading up to the Super Bowl in Glendale looks like it’s going to be warm and dry, with highs continuing in the upper-70s to around 80-degrees. However, there are some signs a weather disturbance will be changing the weather either Super Bowl weekend or in the days following. It’s way too early to say for sure, but right now, Super Bowl Sunday, February 1, is still looking like a warm day around the Valley.
