YUMA, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities in southwestern Arizona say two FedEx employees are accused of stealing numerous cellphones from a Yuma facility.

FedEx officials reported the thefts Wednesday and say they could have been occurring since early January.

Yuma police say 24-year-old Michael Luevanos and 27-year-old Ernesto Luebanos allegedly admitted to officers and FedEx investigators to taking part in the theft.

Police detectives served search warrants at the two men's homes and their vehicles and say numerous cellphones were seized.

Luevanos and Luebanos have been booked into the Yuma County Detention Center on suspicion of theft and trafficking in stolen property. It's unclear if they have lawyers.

Police say a 22-year-old woman also was arrested during the search warrant process on suspicion of hindering prosecution, possession of stolen property and tampering with physical evidence.
