PHOENIX -- A mostly sunny and warm Friday is expected in the Valley with an above-average afternoon high of 74 degrees. Strong high pressure will continue to keep our afternoons warm and our mornings mild through the upcoming holiday weekend and into early next week.
Look for light winds, overnight lows in the 40s and afternoon highs in the low to mid-70s all weekend long.
Mostly clear skies can be expected Friday and Saturday with an increase in high clouds expected by Sunday afternoon.
No rain or snow is expected this holiday weekend in Arizona and Valley highs should top out near 76 degrees on Monday.
Our next storm looks to arrive next Wednesday or Thursday, although at this point it looks pretty dry for Arizona. It will likely just drop our temperatures back to normal for January.
