PHOENIX – Phoenix police are asking for the public's help as they continue to investigate a stabbing from earlier this month.

Officer James Holmes said a 43-year-old man was found stabbed behind a bus stop near 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street around 1 a.m. on Jan. 4.

The victim is still in the hospital and unable to tell police what happened.

Holmes said the victim doesn't have any family in Arizona.

Detectives do not have any leads at this time and are asking anyone who may have seen anything on the night of Jan. 3 to Jan. 4 to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Callers may remain anonymous and could receive a reward of up to $1,000.

Holmes said any information, no matter how minute, could be helpful in solving this assault.
