PHOENIX -- Four days of unsettled weather are coming to an end as the last in a series of storms moves to the east.

Wednesday afternoon, we were still seeing a few snow showers in the mountains of the state on the backside of the storm. However, accumulations were light.

As a ridge of high pressure begins to build into Arizona, we’ll see a nice warming trend for the weekend.

Thursday, we’ll see lots of sunshine and highs right around 70. That’s above normal for this time of year. By Friday through the weekend, we’re forecasting highs in the mid-70s around the Valley with overnight lows around 50.

The ridge of high pressure looks like it’s going to settle in over the western U.S., giving us at least of week of dry and warm weather.

An early look at Super Bowl weeks shows we could have a few showers the weekend before the Super Bowl but that in the days leading up to the big game, we’re looking at lots of sunshine and warm temperatures.
