PHOENIX -- Police are searching for suspects in the fatal shooting of a man in Phoenix Saturday night.

A witness told police that a man and his female friend got into an argument over drugs around 9:30 p.m.

She reportedly suggested he go out to a car in a parking lot near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road, and shots were heard shortly after.

The man was found in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has not yet been identified, but police said he appeared to be between 25 and 30 years old.

A witness reported seeing three people leaving the area at the same time, but no other information was available.
