PHOENIX -- A series of weather disturbances will begin crossing Arizona this weekend, bringing some rain and show showers to the state, mainly in the higher elevations.
Rain chances both Saturday and Sunday are running below the 10 percent chance for rain threshold. Highs this weekend in the Valley will be running in the low 70s.
Then when a couple of stronger storms move into the state Monday and Tuesday, we’re probably going to see some rain in the Valley. But this will be a warm storm, so the snow levels will be pretty high.
Right now, the chance for rain is running about 50 percent on Monday for metro Phoenix and 30 percent for Tuesday. High temperatures early next week will be running in the mid-60s.
Late next week, the storms will clear out and we’ll warm back up to around 70 degrees during the afternoon hours.
