PHOENIX -- A new food truck is rolling into town and it's a perfect way to start your mornings. That's because "Rollover Doughnuts" is all about doughnuts, fritters and coffee.

Kat and Brad Moore are the creators of this tempting new truck. "We were looking to expand our repertoire, and doughnuts have always been a passion of mine," says Brad. "I'm from Texas and there were doughnut shops on every corner. And we moved here and I was like, where are all the doughnut shops?"

Rollover Doughnuts offers unique flavors like orange glaze with pistachios and orange Thai coconut. Don't miss the bear doughnut, with peanut butter custard on the inside, and smoked Gouda cheese, bacon and barbecue sauce on the outside. Maple-glazed bacon is also a favorite.

The menu also includes a selection of fritters. The lemon ricotta fritter comes with strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate glaze, while the apple fritter is rolled in cinnamon and sugar and comes with a caramel dipping sauce. Each fritter costs $1.50.

"I think we've got a great mix of fun flavors," says Brad.

All the doughnuts cost $2.50 each. They're all made from brioche, and are hand-dipped in different glazes. You can also buy a dozen doughnuts for $24.

Kat and Brad started Food Truck Friday four years ago, and the food truck craze has gotten bigger than ever.

They also own Short Leash Hot dogs and Sausages. That began as a food truck and is now also a restaurant inside Biltmore Fashion Park.

Food Truck Friday is the largest ongoing food truck gathering in Arizona. Typically there are anywhere between 11 and 14 food trucks gathered at the Phoenix Public Market, serving lunch from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Short Leash Hot dogs & Sausages has been named an official food vendor for the Super Bowl. It has also won a number of awards over the past few years, including a spot on Yelp's Top 100 places it eat in the U.S.A. 2014.

Rollover Doughnuts can be found at 10 W. Vernon Street in Phoenix. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
