PHOENIX -- An adult male died in a vehicle fire in North Phoenix on Wednesday morning.

The death appears to be a suicide, according to Sergeant Jonathan Howard with the Phoenix Police Department.

It occurred at 8:30 a.m. behind the Walgreens at 3rd Street and Bell Road.

The vehicle was right next to the business and the flames were actually touching the building.

The fire was reported through an emergency call. The caller said there was a vehicle on fire with a person inside.

When firefighters got to the scene they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames with someone still inside.
