CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say a Casa Grande man has been arrested twice in two days in connection with an alleged assault on his girlfriend. Pinal County Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Joshua Harrison is being held on a $5,000 bond on suspicion of aggravated assault related to domestic violence. They say Harrison was taken into custody Saturday for allegedly for strangling and assaulting his girlfriend after an argument over a lottery ticket. He was released on his own recognizance, but authorities say Harrison attempted to contact the woman and was found in her home hiding in a shower in an attempt to avoid arrest. Authorities say Harrison has denied hitting or injuring his girlfriend. But deputies say Harrison had defensive wounds and swelling and redness on his hands, consistent with having punched someone.
