SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A new business in Scottsdale will really put your detective skills to the test!

"Escape the Room AZ" is a fun, interactive entertainment concept located in old-town Scottsdale. While it looks like an ordinary room, it's actually a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-workers or strangers.

Guests have to find the hidden objects, figure out the clues and solve the puzzles to earn their freedom and "Escape the Room."

"It is a live, interactive puzzle," says owner Paul Boyd. "So what we do is we take 10 people. You get locked into a room and you have 60 minutes to get out. But there is nothing scary about these rooms."

Escape the Room is filled with a series of challenges you must solve within 60 minutes. The best advice? Move quickly before the time runs out!

"There are combo locks and padlocks. There are tricks, trivia, riddles," he says. "It's up to the team members to figure out how to get out."

The adventure is good for both adults and kids. There will be an "Apartment" room, an "Escape the '80s" room, and a "Western Bank Heist" room.

The adventure is great for all ages. Even kids will enjoy trying to solve the puzzles.

"Who doesn't like puzzles?" asks Boyd. "Everybody does!

Individual tickets cost about $30.
