Free landlord, tenant rights and laws workshop offered by City of Phoenix

PHOENIX -- Both tenants and landlords can learn more about their legal rights and responsibilities during a free workshop.

The City of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department is hosting the event from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15 on the fourth floor of the Burton Barr Central Library, located at 1221 N. Central Avenue.

During the workshop, attendees will learn information on rights, responsibilities, and the guidelines of landlords and tenants under the Arizona Residential Law. Topics that are scheduled to be covered include the eviction process, security deposits, tenants in properties in the foreclosure process, maintenance issues and more.
