PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say a teenager crashed a car into a mobile home in Phoenix, displacing a family of 10.

Phoenix police Sgt. Jonathan Howard says a 17-year-old boy was driving when he crashed into the home on 27th Avenue near Camelback Road around 1:30 a.m.

Howard says no one was injured.

The teen allegedly fled the scene but later turned himself in to police.

According to police, the suspect had taken his father's car without permission. It's not clear if he will face any charges.

Authorities say the incident displaced two adults and eight children, along with three dogs.

The American Red Cross is assisting them.
