The Pima County Sheriff's Department says the trio, who are all in their 20s, were in good condition and did not need medical attention.
Sheriff's spokesman Tom Peine says they began hiking from Sabino Canyon at 7 a.m. Friday and were making their way to the top of Mount Lemmon.
They were reported lost around 4 p.m.
Peine says they were found at about 7,000 feet amid fog, snow and steep terrain.
