Holiday Tea at The Phoenician ResortPosted: Updated:
Modern Luxury Scottsdale magazine’s editor-in-chief, Marie Look, shares one of her favorite holiday traditions in the Valley: Holiday Tea at The Phoenician Resort, a festive activity which was featured in the magazine’s Philanthropy Issue.
Tea Hostess Wanda Hill gives viewers a glimpse into this special holiday experience with an elegant place setting filled with fine china, ornate teapots and, of course, finger sandwiches. Hill explained that every Holiday Tea guest enjoys a tea of their choice along with a three-course tasting menu.
So, what’s to eat? Raspberry macaroons, hickory-smoked salmon finger sandwiches, buttermilk scones, chocolate mousse cake and other the light bites—there’s something for every palate!
Tea enthusiasts can sip to their heart’s content with a selection of more than 19 different varieties, including special holiday blend, including a light berry tea that’s a great choice for anyone who doesn’t love the sometimes bitter taste of herbal teas.
For anyone who doesn’t love the taste of herbal teas, it’s no problem, because Hill recommends a light berry tea that is perfect for people with pickier taste buds, especially children.
Hill says that no matter their age, people love holiday tea at The Phoenician. It’s a very popular activity for moms, daughters, grandmothers and aunts to enjoy, since dressing up in something special and enjoying a lovely tea together appeals to multiple generations.
Hill recommends making reservations to make sure you don’t miss out on High Tea at The Phoenician, whether you’re looking to share the experience around the holidays or beyond. Maybe you’ll even start a new tradition for your own family!
