PHOENIX -- Call it natural instinct, but the Sumatran tiger at the Phoenix Zoo seems to have a knack for predicting bowl game winners.

Zookeepers on Tuesday asked Hadiah about the Fiesta Bowl.

They put two treat boxes in her enclosure, one representing the No. 12 University of Arizona Wildcats and the other the No. 21 Boise State Broncos, two of the nation's most prolific offensive teams.

Fittingly, the big cat chose the her fellow "Cats" - the Wildcats - to win.

If you're wondering about Hadiah's record, she's been 4-0 at predicting the winners of bowl games for the past two years.

The Fiesta Bowl will kick off Wednesday at the University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale a 2 p.m.

The Broncos got off to a shaky start under first-year coach Bryan Harsin, but closed out the season with eight straight wins to earn a return trip to the Fiesta Bowl, where they made a name for themselves by beating Oklahoma in 2007.

Arizona won bowl games its first two seasons under coach Rich Rodriguez and took a big step forward this season by securing a spot in an upper-tier bowl for the first time since the 1994 Fiesta Bowl.
