YUMA, Ariz. -- Yuma police say video surveillance shows an unknown person riding a bicycle around the time of a fire at a park playground Sunday night.

Police officers and firefighters responded to the Stewart Vincent Wolfe Creative Playground at the West Wetlands Park shortly before 11 p.m.

Lt. Luis Marquez said the playground was fully engulfed in flames.

Visitors were evacuated while firefighters worked to contain the fire.

The park was closed Monday but reopened on Tuesday.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the fire or the bicyclist to call 928-373-4700 or 78-Crime to remain anonymous.

City officials say donations to rebuild the playground can be submitted at several locations, including City Hall, the Yuma Art Center, the Yuma Civic Center, the Foothills Bank on South Fourth Avenue and the Yuma National Heritage Area Corp.
