PHOENIX -- A Phoenix neighborhood was on edge for a while late Tuesday and early Wednesday as police SWAT officers tracked a shooting suspect to a house near 10th Street and the Loop 101 Pima Freeway.

Police said they found a wounded and disoriented man Tuesday night near Grovers Avenue and Fourth Street, but were able to link his shooting to the address where the suspect had barricaded himself.

The suspect was in the house with three other people, and all four surrendered without incident, police said.

The suspect was expected to be jailed on an aggravated assault charge, police said.

The wounded man was expected to recover from a gunshot wound to a lower leg.
