Sky Harbor Airport offers discount parking, holiday travel tipsPosted: Updated:
PHOENIX -- 'Tis the season for holiday travel. The day before Christmas Eve is typically a busy travel day, as folks try to make it home for the holidays. Others are spending time at the airport picking up loved ones.
"Who are you picking up?" we asked traveler Cynthia Nordstrom. "My daughter," she replied. "She moved to Boston University. She was with me the last 35 years! She's coming home and it's her birthday, so it's a double gift,"
Sky Harbor Airport is trying to make things a little easier or holiday travelers. The airport is offering a special discount parking rate of $13 a day, as long as you reserve your spot online.
Travelers can save money in the convenient terminal garages by reserving their parking in advance through Prepaid Discount Parking. The $13 a day price is available through January 4. Pre-book your parking and enjoy convenient access from the garage right into the terminal.
