PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities say a Cottonwood man is recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Prescott Valley Police responded to a fast-foot restaurant about 9 a.m. Monday about the accidental shooting.
The man told police he was in a bathroom and his .32-caliber handgun fell out of his pocket onto the floor and fired one round into his leg.
Police say the semi-automatic pistol was in a light, nylon holster when it discharged.
The bullet through the holster, the man's left calf and his right thigh.
It was recovered on the bathroom floor and no other people were injured.
The man was treated at the scene by Central Yavapai Fire Department and taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
His name hasn't been released yet.
The case is being reviewed by police investigators.
