PHOENIX -- Valley favorites Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers are wrapping up 2014 with two special shows at Talking Stick Resort Dec. 26 and 27.

Clyne joined us in the 3TV studios this week to play a little music for us.

He also talked about his show, and let us in on his collaboration with the local artist who designed the album cover for The Independent.

Daniel Gonzalez is a Tucson native and also half Apache.

"My aunt was a teacher in southern Arizona," says Clyne. "Daniel was one of her students."

Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers have been musical inspirations of the Southwest for over fifteen years with more than a dozen independently released studio and live albums in their catalogue.

The band's most recent release, The Independent, debuted at No. 7 on the iTunes Rock Chart. Following its release the band toured The Independent live across the country and journeyed down to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico to perform at Clyne's acclaimed self-produced annual music festival, Circus Mexicus.

The AZ Highways tour brings RCPM full circle to perform back in their home state of Arizona.

Each venue on the AZ Highways Tour featured signature cocktails of Roger Clyne's own brand of premium sipping tequila, Mexican Moonshine Tequila. The line of tequila was named after one of Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers' songs titled "Mexican Moonshine," off of the critically hailed album, ¡Americano!
