PHOENIX -- A hiker had to be rescued off of Camelback Mountain Monday evening.
The 26-year-old man was about three quarters of the way up Echo Canyon Trail when he hurt his ankle.
He was so far up the mountain that firefighters decided to use the helicopter to bring him down.
So, he was hoisted up from the air, and flown down to safety. An ambulance was waiting for him at the bottom.
We are told that he is going to be okay.
