Weapons taken in Phoenix burglary; 3 suspects sought

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are looking for a man and two women in connection with a home burglary in which several guns were taken.

The trio is believed to have forced their way into a home in the area of 8600 N. 40th Ave. between 3:50 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Dec. 15 and took the weapons and electronic equipment, Phoenix police Officer James Holmes said.

The trio was in a blue 2010 or Honda Civic, Holmes said.

The man was described as black, between 18 and 25 years old, 5'6" to 5'10" tall and 160 to 185 pounds.

The first woman was described as white, between 18 and 23 years old, between 5'2" and 5'4" tall and between 110 and 130 pounds.

The second woman was black, between 18 and 25 years old, 5'3" to 5'6" tall and between 180 and 200 pounds.

One of the women was wearing a distinctive hooded jacket, Holmes said.
