4 Injured in 3-vehicle crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX -- Four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Phoenix Saturday afternoon.

Phoenix firefighters were called to 33rd and Northern avenues around 4 p.m.

Phoenix Fire Capt. Benjamin Santillan said one person had to be extricated from a vehicle.

Santillan said two men in their 20s and woman in her 40s were transported to local trauma centers in serious condition. A man in his 30s was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
