PHOENIX -- The last of several storms is tracking out of Arizona Thursday. In its wake, drier and warmer weather is moving in.
Lingering snow showers across the high country Thursday afternoon are expected to taper off through the evening. Overnight, patchy fog is forecast to develop through Friday morning.
Otherwise, in the Valley, look for mostly clear skies into Friday morning with lows dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s. Phoenix should bottom out at around 43.
Strong high pressure will build into the desert Southwest from the west for the next several days. Besides a few clouds from time to time, skies should be mostly clear with temperatures gradually warming each day.
In Phoenix on Friday, the high should reach around 64. Look for highs around the Valley in the mid 60s this weekend, with the low 70s returning Monday and continuing into Christmas day.
