PHOENIX -- We would all love a new wardrobe for the holidays, but who can afford that? Our personal stylist Devy Walker from About Face Boutique gave us some tips Wednesday morning on how to make the most of what is already in our closet.

"Just get creative, because it saves you so much money," she says.

Devy says you can transform basic clothes into party clothes that are "holiday-ready." It can as be easy as adding one or two pieces to an existing outfit. "It's just about adding just a little bit of holiday bling," she says.

Wondering what to wear to the holiday luncheon at work? These functions can be challenging when choosing appropriate attire. Devy paired a more casual sweater with a bright patterned skirt, and added a decorative necklace to give it that festive, special look.

What about an outfit for a house party? For an evening home party, start with the basics, such as a skinny jean or jegging and a cute top with a great pair of boots. Add a fantastic jacket to make your look special.

For a cocktail party or formal dinner, start with a basic sheath and add a cute leopard jacket  to transform your daytime dress into evening attire. For a sexy, chic look, try a slinky knit pant, a faux fur vest, and a cute holiday top.

Mixing your wardrobe up is fun and creates so many cute, new looks! Devy says don't be afraid to try new combinations; you may love what you already have in your closet.
