PHOENIX (AP) -- Police say a suspect accused of walking up to a home in west Phoenix and fatally shooting a man is still at large.

Phoenix police spokesman Jonathan Howard says the shooting happened around 7 p.m. Saturday near West Van Buren Street and 67th Avenue.

Howard says the suspect walked up to the house and got into a confrontation with others.

That is when the suspect allegedly opened fire, killing one person. Several others then fled, including the suspect.

Police are searching for the suspect who is described as an older man dressed all in black.

Howard did not release the name of the victim or other details.
