Person of interest sought in sexual assault of Phoenix woman

PHOENIX -- Police are trying to identify a man wanted for questioning in the sexual assault of a woman at her Phoenix apartment.

Around 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, a man entered an apartment near 27th and Glendale avenues, where two 28-year-old women live.

He reportedly sexually assaulted one woman and cut the other woman's hand deeply with a serrated knife.

A black man wearing a two-toned blue hoodie with a zipper and blue jeans was seen in the area prior to and just after the attack. Police are calling him a person of interest in the case.
