PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are searching for suspects in the shooting death of two men Thursday.

Police responded to the area of 51st Avenue and Baseline Road in Laveen shortly before 3 p.m. for a report of an injured man in the street.

According to Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Howard, the man was not cooperative but directed officers to a particular house in the area.

He appeared to have gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

Howard said officers located a second shooting victim inside the house. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the shootings were drug related.

A red pickup truck was seen fleeing the area, but police do not have a description of the suspect or suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department Violent Crimes Bureau at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS to remain anonymous.
