'Christmas and Corvettes' event rolls into town

PHOENIX -- Celebrate the holidays in style, as the "Christmas and Corvettes" event rolls into the Shops at Norterra.

Santa's Corvette will arrive on Friday, December 12 for the event, taking place from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.  During that time, Norterra's Main Street with be filled with classic and modern Corvettes for your browsing pleasure.

Guests will also enjoy the Come Back Buddy 50's band, a snow playground from Arctic Glacier, free restaurant food samples (including chocolate from the recently opened Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory), a caricature artist, a visit from Santa himself, plus a gift wrapping station from a local non-profit.

Attendees may also wear their ugliest holiday sweater to win four tickets to Cirque du Soleil: Varekai. Additionally, while Christmas with Corvettes will feature plenty of Corvettes, Norterra's dedicated car show attendees are welcome to bring their classic cars as well.

"We've been doing this for years," says Jill Jones of Norterra. "We've been doing a car show every month for a long time. And the one in December is our holiday spectacular. And Santa will be arriving in style, in a Corvette."
