Car ends up in pond after Scottsdale crash

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A vehicle ended up in a pond following a four-vehicle collision in Scottsdale Monday afternoon.

The car went over an embankment and into a pond at 69th Street and Shea Boulevard.

People in the area went to the driver's aid and helped pull him from the sinking car.

The Scottsdale Fire Department responded to the scene and the man was transported to a local hospital.

There is no word on what caused the collision.
