GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Glendale police detectives are investigating a homicide.

Police said a man was shot and killed Sunday night near Olive and 43rd avenues.

Pedro Rivero-Fernandez, 53, was found shot to death in the doorway of his own home.

"This is what we call an unknown trouble call. There was just yelling and screaming in the background," said Sgt. David Vidaure with the Glendale Police Department. "Our officers arrived on scene and found our male victim lying in the doorway of the residence and he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds."

Police have not made any arrests and do not have any suspect descriptions.

Detectives were able to get surveillance footage from nearby homes and are currently reviewing it.

Vidaure said a gray SUV may have been seen leaving the area at the time of the shooting.
