Tickets are a tax-deductible donation. Receive a $2 discount on the public tour admission price with any canned food(s) donation. $10 admission with nonperishable food item, otherwise $12 admission.
Desert Club's 2014 Christmas Idea House will be showcased in Higley Estates at Morrison Ranch in Gilbert, Arizona. The 9,000-square-foot, single level, custom home is situated on 1.5 acres of beautifully landscaped property. The home near Higley and Elliot roads will be transformed into a Christmas wonderland and open for the public to tour and discover thousands of unique holiday gifts and décor artfully displayed and for sale. All proceeds from this event will benefit local charities and provide need-based scholarships to deserving young students
The Christmas House kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 5:30 pm with the lavish "Gala," which includes a first-look home tour, live music, silent auction and dinner by Robert's Catering. Friday, Dec 5, guests may attend one of the two seating times at the "Holiday Brunch" (9 a.m. or noon) where guests enjoy a gourmet brunch, followed by the home tour and shopping. Tickets for these events must be purchased in advance. The home will be open for public tours and shopping on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased at the door. Guests may receive a $2 discount by 2014 Fall Tempe Festival of the Arts - 46th Annual!

2014 Tempe Fall Festival

The Tempe Festival of the Arts consistently ranks among the top 200 art festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine and has received the prestigious Pinnacle Award from the International Festival and Events Association. The spring and fall events each attract nearly 225,000 visitors to the Mill Avenue District over the course of a three-day weekend.
Quality independent artists are fundamental to the success of the event. Each festival receives more than 700 applications from throughout North America in 16 different visual arts categories that range from wood to photography to ceramics, wearable art, jewelry and other categories. From these applicants, a jury comprised of members of the local art community ranks the top artisans in each category to participate in the Festival, and the highest ranking artists receive invitations to participate. During the festival, a new jury selects the best overall artist and the top artist in each category and these winners receive cash honoraria awards.
As many as 400 artist booths line Mill Avenue and the surrounding streets presenting unique, and handmade artwork that offers visitors a distinctive shopping experience.
Bring at least one canned food item, which will be donated to a local food bank. Parking is located in the Bashas' Grocery parking lot on the southeast corner of Higley and Elliot roads and guests will be shuttled to the home. Directions: From the 202 (San Tan Freeway), exit Higley Road north to Bashas' parking on the right.
Breakfast with Santa
Share in the spirit of the holiday season with family and friends when District American Kitchen and Wine Bar hosts Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 7. The annual breakfast will include made-to-order gourmet omelets, carved ham, as well as a mac and cheese station. For adults, there will be Bloody Mary bar and endless Mimosas.
Beyond the delicious breakfast, families will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Kris Kringle himself. They also can spend some time making new holiday memories decorating holiday cookies.
Prices for the Breakfast with Santa experience is $32 for adults, $16 for kids 4. Complimentary three-hour self-parking validation is available.
