EL MIRAGE, Ariz. -- A truck driver was arrested Thursday after authorities reportedly found child pornography inside his El Mirage home.

Detectives from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at 52-year-old Kevin Karl Kaipio's home near Grand Avenue and Greenway Road after conducting an online investigation.

Authorities say Kaipio was trading and collecting child pornography. During the search, they reportedly found thousands of images and videos depicting children under the age of 5 being sexually abused.

Kaipio has been identified as the top offender in Arizona trading and collecting images of children being sexually abused.

Kaipio reportedly admitted to the crimes during an interview with investigators.

He was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a class two felony and a dangerous crime against children.

Authorities say the cross-country truck driver has been in contact with numerous people around the country.
