PHOENIX -- Look for partly sunny skies in the Valley Monday with an above-average high of 77 degrees.
This will be our one last especially warm and dry day before unsettled weather arrives in the Desert Southwest. A Pacific storm system is expected to bring decent rain to California over the next couple of days and scattered showers to Arizona.
The showers will spread in from the west on Tuesday, but scattered light showers are just about all the Valley can expect between Tuesday night and Thursday.
Mostly cloudy skies and slightly cooler temperatures will also be on tap. Rain is also possible for the high country, but snow levels will stay fairly high above 9,000 feet. Another period of unsettled weather is possible by the weekend.
