MARICOPA, Ariz. -- A Maricopa woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after crashing her car into her home, according to police.

Maricopa police spokesman Ricardo Alvarado said the 50-year-old woman revved her engine for unknown reasons and crashed through a window into the dining room in reverse.

She was just moving into the home in The Villages at Rancho El Dorado subdivision and was in the process of unpacking.

She was transported to a hospital with complaints of neck pain, Alvarado said.

Police do not believe impairment was a factor.
