FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Campers and hunters are being evacuated as firefighters battle a wind-whipped blaze north of Flagstaff, according to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office.

Spokesman Gerry Blair said the wildfire is burning about 100 acres in the Lockett Meadow area along Highway 89 to Page.

No structures or neighborhoods are threatened, according to Blair.

The Summit Fire Department, Arizona Game and Fish Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety and U.S. Forest Service have crews on scene.

Blair said although it appears firefighters are getting a handle on the fire, bulldozers and land graders are being sent in case crews need to build a fire break.
