2 Men sought in Phoenix carjacking

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for two men in connection with a carjacking in Phoenix.

At 11:58 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, two men reportedly approached a vehicle near 19th and Missouri avenues and punched the two 20-year-old male occupants in the face. The men pointed a black, semi-automatic handgun at the occupants and stole the car.

According to police, the same men entered a Circle K near 43rd Avenue and Van Buren Street about half an hour later and committed a beer run.

They fled in the stolen vehicle, which was found crashed near 43rd Avenue and Fillmore Street.

The suspects are described as 5-foot-11 Hispanic males, each weighing about 170 pounds. One man appeared to be about 22 years old and had white gauges in his ears.
