PHOENIX -- A sunny and warm Thanksgiving is on tap for Arizona. High temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s in the high country today, while the Valley will see a high of about 82 degrees. That's a full 12 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Arizona is in for a stretch of warm and dry weather under a ridge of high pressure that peaks for our region today. The ridge slowly weakens over the weekend, but temperatures will only slowly decrease, meaning sunshine and 70s through the weekend.
Early next week, a Pacific storm system looks to move into our region. As of now, the storm looks likely for Tuesday and Wednesday, but just how much rain this could bring remains uncertain. Precipitation and timing will become more clear as we get closer.
