Drug Store Beauty Products That Accessorize to Glamorize

Attractive accessories and just the right makeup can make that old dress sparkle or perfectly finish your new outfit.  Just in time for your holiday parties, I've got stylish and affordable accessories and cosmetics that you can easily get right down the street at your local Walgreens.  Take a look to get the look of the season for less with an added accessory that completes your festive ensemble.  And a big thank you to my beauty expert and managedmoms.com writer, Bianca for her pretty picks that can all be found in the drug store aisle to keep you on your holiday beauty budget.  Here are her drug store beauty product and accessory picks and we will go from head to toe...

Holiday Hair
*Stylin Bundle of Braids Head Wrap ($5 at Walgreens) -- This pretty black and gold head band can hold your hair back off your face or can be used to top off an updo.  And for only $5, the price is right.
*ConAir Sophisticates Barrette ($5.99 at Walgreens) -- This pretty pearl flex barrette can hold a little or a lot of hair making this a versatile hair tool to top off your holiday outfit.
*ConAir Sophisticates Bobby Pins ($4.99 at Walgreens) -- Bobby pins can save an updo or gently sweep a bit of hair off the face and these shimmery bobby pins with bling add glam to your go to holiday hair style.

Looking Good Eye Wise
*No 7 Eyebrow Palette ($10 at Walgreens) -- Finished brows frame and wake the face, so the brows have it and this palette comes with everything needed to do the job.  For $10 you get mini tweezers, a brow pencil and four different shades of eyebrow colors with a brush to enhance your brows.
*KISS EverEz Lashes Starter Kit ($6.70 at Walgreens) -- Bianca tells me that she has had several customers tell her that they dig this fake lash kit because it comes with a handy applicator that makes applying the lightweight 100% human hair lashes easier than other methods.  Neither Bianca and I have tried this ourselves, so if you have worked with this product, tell us in the comments section about your experience with this particular lash kit.  In any event, fake lashes definitely make the eyes special occasion ready.  I am always amazed by just how much added lashes enhance my entire look.
*Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art ($8.99 at Walgreens) -- This limited edition collection is a glitter liner and liquid eye shadow duo that is perfect when you want your makeup to dazzle for the holidays.  I like the Burnished Bling shade which is a copper and gold duo of color.

Fabulous Face Kit
*No 7 Pure Glamour Kit ($25 at Walgreens) -- This cool kit creates three glamorous looks all in one easy to use kit with instructions on how to get a natural beauty look, an enhanced made up face and a night time glamour look to really add emphasis to your holiday attire.  For $25 you get an eye shadow trio, blush, a big powder/blush brush, a black eye pencil and high shine lip gloss.  This kit works well to put your best holiday face forward or to give as a beauty gift.

Lovely Lips
*No 7 Lip Treats ($20 at Walgreens) -- Get perfectly finished lips that also stay hydrated with four lip gloss shades that come in Pink Sherbet, Rose Pearl, Almost Red and Coral Kiss plus this also comes with a High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink.
Pretty Pedi & Magnificent Mani
*LA Colors Bowtastic Nail Design Kit ($5 at Walgreens) -- This 9 piece nail polish set comes with a tutorial that shows you how to get bowtie nail designs in all kinds of colors.  Fun and festive for sure.
*KISS Gel Dress Gel Strips Nail Kit ($5.99 at Walgreens) -- The box says that this full or French kit peel off nail color will last for up to two weeks.  Since I'm trying this for the first time myself, I can't promise that, but I do like how these look.  I also like that I can get a full or French look with this nail product.  This particular style dresses up the typical French manicure, which I like because I love how clean a good French mani looks on both hands and toes.

Cool Clothing Accessories That Also Add Warmth
*DNLA Sports Seamless Fleece Leggings ($6.99 at Walgreens) -- The gold color that I purchased is festive and the material is oh so comfy.  On days and nights when I want to dress up, but also dress down for comfort, these work perfectly.
*West Loop Pashmina Scarf ($5.99 or 2 for $10 at Walgreens) -- Have you seen the YouTube videos that show multiple ways to wear a scarf?  This accessory not only works to make your holiday casual outfit versatile, but it will also keep you warm in the cold winter nights.
*Winter Originals Ladies Neck Warmer ($9.99 at Walgreens) -- This pretty grey neck warmer can be worn two ways, as a scarf to warm your neck and around the head to keep the ears, cheeks and head toasty and comfy.  Love that.  And check out the matching fingerless gloves below...
*Winter Originals Ladies One Size Hand Warmers ($6.99 at Walgreens) -- Cold hands are no fun and if you want your pretty rings and manicure to be seen, this set is the perfect answer.
*Winter Originals Ladies Gloves ($6.99 at Walgreens) -- When you want full coverage for your hands with a pretty faux fur trim, this pair is perfect and affordable, too.
*West Loop Holiday Charm Scarf ($5.99 at Walgreens) -- Enhance a dress, blouse, sweater or jacket with this pretty pink scarf that is topped off with a sliver snowflake charm.  Charming and festive.
*A Pretty Purse Makeup Bag ($5 at Walgreens) -- Meant to carry cosmetics, but sparkly enough to be a festive clutch, too.  I like beauty products that multi-task and this one does it very well.
