PHOENIX -- 3TV's Scott Pasmore takes viewers to one of his favorite restaurants that is easily accessible by train -- Downtown Pizza Lounge.
The pizza joint is just a few steps away from the Light Rail on Washington Street.
With its "pizza shop on the corner" vibe, the restaurant offer New York style pizza by the slice.
"Good slice, the cheese is just right, the sauce is nice and sweet, extremely good service, always on top of it," Anthony Bora said. "One of the best pizza places I've been to in my career of eating pizza."
The building was utilized for a lot of different purposes in the past and the brick is the original brick from the oldest commercial building in Downtown Phoenix.
"My biggest challenge every day is to not have five or six slices." AJ Sulka, owner of Downtown Pizza Lounge, said. "Everything is made fresh every day."
