FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) -- A judge has denied a motion that would have remanded the criminal case against a San Tan Valley man accused of sexual assaults and other sex crimes back to a grand jury.

That allows the case against 18-year-old Tyler Kost to move forward.

The Pinal County Attorney's Office announced a third indictment against Kost in August.

He's charged with one count each of attempted sexual assault and attempted child molestation of a victim under the age of 15.

That alleged victim is the 13th in the case and Kost now faces a total of 30 counts.

Most of the charges were alleged in two indictments issued last May.

Kost was arrested after sheriff's officials alleged he targeted girls from ages 12 to 17 between October 2009 and last April.
