PHOENIX -- A 70-year-old man who walked away from a group home in Peoria last week has been found dead in a wash, Maricopa County sheriff's deputies said.
It appears Barry Bobb died of natural causes, according to sheriff's investigators. There were no indications of foul play or other evidence to suggest a criminal act, MCSO added.
MCSO appealed to the public Sunday to report any leads that might be helpful in locating Barry Bobb, who had last been seen Nov. 19 at 4:56 a.m. at his group home at 8855 W. Calle Lejos in Peoria. He slipped away on his own accord, deputies said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety issued a Silver Alert for Bobb late Wednesday morning.
It appeared Bobb's body had been in the wash for one to two days, MCSO said.
