So tonight a motivated 6th seed, mountain pointe, will be leaving it all on the field, with their season on the brink.

Number 2 Chandler raced out to a big 21 to nothing lead however, Mountain Pointe dug deep, as Brandyn Leonard cuts the lead to 28-22 Wolves.

Running extra hard for his fullback, who couldn’t play.

Mountain Pointe got within a touchdown, but Chandler just has too many weapons A.S.U commit Bryce Perkins finds open Justin Jan for a 5 yard touchdown.

They go for 2 and do a reverse pass to Perkins and get it and it is 36-22.

Division II semis, number 10 Chaparral taking on number 3 Centennial at North Canyon High.

Second half was a defensive battle with Centennial already up 21-0.

Centennial’s Isaac Steele is dropped for a sack by Brandon Jamison of Chaparral.

Then Steele winds up and throws deep and is picked by Shakial Taylor, Taylor gets a nice return but the Firebirds can’t score.

The only score of the second half came on this Joe Navarro field goal and he makes it 24-0.

Then Brett Tonz, the captain of that Coyote defense gets the sack on Grayson Barry.

And then check out this great play by Ryan Poindexter, with one are, he easily gets around the lineman and strip sacks Barry.

He also recovers the fumble.

Wow what a play.

And what a win.

Centennial with the 24-0 shutout will face #1 Liberty next Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium.
