CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- Police are searching for an armed suspect who walked into a Casa Grande hotel and robbed several people Friday morning.

It happened at about 5 a.m.

Officers evacuated the Holiday Inn Express northwest of Interstate 10 and Florence Boulevard while they looked for the suspect, but the man got away.

Aerial video from the Penguin Air Newschopper showed a SWAT vehicle in front of the hotel.

According to a spokesman for the Casa Grande Police Department, the suspect is a Hispanic male in his 20s. He was wearing an olive sweatshirt hoodie and tan or gray pants. He had a white bandanna partially covering his face and was carrying a black duffel bag.

Investigators said the suspect had a handgun and confronted four hotel guests who were in the lobby. While those people were shaken by the incident, they were not hurt.

Police are hoping surveillance video will show them exactly what happened and give them a good look at the suspect.
